About Us
- Autoquip is a family-run business that has been
established since 1977. We are conveniently
located near the Lisburn - Moira section
of the M1 Motorway. A map showing our position is available
on our Location page.
- We have traditionally repaired (reconditioned) and
uprated leaf springs, i.e. making standard leaf springs into
Heavy Duty and/or High Lift springs, with the additional
service of fitting the spring to the vehicle if required.
- Over the years we have increased our stock levels and
product range to include Leaf Springs, U-Bolts (both of
which can be made to order), Bushes (Silent Block &
Rubber) for most of the 4x4 (Off Road) and Light Commercial
vehicles, as well as some Heavy Duty Coil Springs, Shackles
& Pins and Polyurethane Bushes for other models.
- Recently we have started to stock Heavy Commercial
Springs for which, in the past, we have always offered a
repair and fitting service.
- Over the past several years we have offered a range of
trailer springs, ranging from the most common 3 leaf car
trailer springs made from 2" x 5/16" material (and the Ifor
Williams 1 or 2 and 5 or 7 leaf trailer springs), right upto
the heavier 7 leaf Dump Truck/Low Loader trailer spring made
from 3" x 9/16" material. Along with these springs we also
offer all the U-Bolts, Plates, Fixed & Swinging
Shackles, with Pins & Bolts.
- As well as these we now offer the heavy duty Draw Bar
Leaf Springs and Coil Springs that are often used in the
construction of Dump Truck Low Loader Trailers.
